This vintage campaign t-shirt supports Allan Woodson during his campaign for mayor of Springfield, Illinois. The double-sided shirt includes the slogan "Leadership for Springfield". The shirt is from the 1995 mayoral election, which Woodson lost to the first female mayor of Springfield, Karen Hasara. Prior to the election Woodson had served as the Ward 10 alderman, a council position which he gave up in order to run for mayor. He later became the CEO of the Springfield Urban League.
