This bit of slang was incredibly popular in the 90s, especially thanks to the 1995 comedy, Clueless, starring Alicia Silverstone. The lettering on this tee even parodies the font used for the movie's title logo.

While Betty Boop was first created back in the 1930s, she's remained a timeless pop culture icon. In the mid 70s, old Betty Boop cartoons were played on television and in revival houses, which led to a resurgence in the character's popularity. Merchandisers quickly capitalized on this revival, and Betty Boop memorabilia became all the rage in the 80s and 90s.
