This awesome vintage punk t-shirt is for the band the Devil Dogs. The group was a New-York based garage band that was founded in 1989 by Andy Gortler, Steve Baise, and Paul Corio. Gortler and Baise had also played together previously in the group Rat Bastards. The group drew inspiration from 60s trash rock and the New York punk sounds of the 70s. They released several EPs, LPs, live albums, and 45s before the band eventually broke up in 1994.

This shirt also features the logo for Crypt Records on the back. This independent record label produced the majority of the band's releases. Crypt Records was founded by Tim Warren in 1983 and they were known for carrying bands that fit the surf, rockabilly, punk, and garage rock genres. The label had several locations in the US, but its headquarters was moved to Hamburg, Germany in 1990. Other bands off the label included The Grave Diggers, The Gories, The Beguiled, The Pagans, New Bomb Turks, and Teengenerate.
