This awesome shirt pays tribute to the band Inspiral Carpets. This English rock band emerged out of the Madchester musical scene in the late 80s, and they became known for incorporating organs and distorted guitars into their sound. This particular tee matches the graphics used for their 1990 EP Cool as Fuck. This US-only release was produced through the band's own label, Cow Records, which they started after the distributor for their previous label, Playtime, went bankrupt.

Cool as Fuck featured the band's most prominent lineup, which included Marty Walsh, Craig Gill, Graham Lambert, and Tom Hingley on lead vocals. The EP was also released very shortly after the band's debut album, Life, which managed to peak at the number two spot on the UK albums chart.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. This shirt is soft and distressed with holes and wear around the edges, see pics.
