This vintage tee is dedicated to the Minnesota Twins and their 1991 Word Series victory. It's aged super well and perfectly captures that wild 90s vibe with all over print, splatter paint effect, and a hundred percent cotton.
MLB's 1991 championship series saw the Minnesota Twins square up with the Atlanta Braves. Both sides played hard, but the Twins took home the title after scoring 4-3. Their pitcher Jack Morris was awarded MVP and center fielder Kirby Puckett would go on to become a baseball Hall of Famer. Many Braves players from this season would also be inducted into the HOF, including John Smolz, Tom Glavine, and John Schuerholz.
The 1991 World series is unique in a number of ways. For one, both the Twins and Braves had the worst standings in the 1990 season. Before them, no league champion had ever finished last in the previous season. More notably, the '91 World Series game was dubbed "Greatest of All Time" by ESPN thanks to how everything played out. Five of its games was decided by a single run, four at the final at-bat, and three went into extra innings.
