This sweet tee is for Sail Boston in 1992 when Boston Harbor played host to dozens of tall ships that were taking part in the Grand Regatta Columbus '92. The Regatta was in remembrance of the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus arriving in the New World. The ships docked in Boston Harbor came from over 30 nations worldwide. Boston Harbor is often host to tall ships, whether they be permenant installments in the New England waters or part of a celebration. In 1976, the harbor was home to many of the same ships and then some for the country's bicentennial.
