This neon shirt is from the band Shonen Knife. Shonen Knife is a Japanese pop punk group that formed in Osaka in 1981. They were known for their poppy, stripped down songs that included both English and Japanese lyrics. They were inspired by 60s girl groups, the Beach Boys, and early punk rock bands like the Buzzcocks and the Ramones. The original members included Naoko Yamano, Ritsuko Taneda, and Atsuko Yamano. They were a novelty in Japan at a time when all female music groups were rare. Kurt Cobain was enamored by Shonen Knife and invited them to open for Nirvana during the band's UK Tour. Shonen Knife continues to release albums and perform today, with albums like "Adventure", "Overdrive", and "Pop Tune". Their earlier work includes "The Birds and the B-Sides", "Let's Knife", and "712".

This shirt fits like a modern unisex adult extra large.

There are paint spots throughout. See pics.
