This cool band tee is for the New York hardcore group Sick of It All, and it commemorates an Australian tour held by the band in 1998. This tour took place after the group was well established in the NYHC scene. The group was formed by the Koller brothers, Lou and Pete while they were still in high school in 1986. They gained a steady following by playing afternoon matinée shows at CBGB's and releasing a self-titled LP. They finally released their first full-length studio album titled Blood, Sweat, and No Tears, ten years before this tour was launched, in 1989.
In 1998, Sick of It All were signed to the independent record label, Fat Wreck Chords, which was owned by the front man of NOFX, Fat Mike. The band released three albums with this label, which included Call to Arms, Yours Truly, and Life on the Ropes. During this period from the mid 90s into the 2000s, the band was touring with other notable groups like Sepultura, Napalm Death, and AFI.
