This awesome shirt celebrates one of the most successful girl groups in musical history, the Spice Girls. This British girl group was originally only active from 1994 to 2000, but during that time they managed to become international superstars and they set the record for the best-selling album by an all female group.

This shirt features four of the original members: Mel B. also known as Scary, Melanie C. or Sporty, Emma Bunton known as Baby, and Victoria Beckham also known as Posh. The fifth original member, Geri Halliwell or Ginger Spice, is noticeably absent from the tee. This is because Halliwell chose to break away from the group in 1998, amidst their Spiceworld Tour, which celebrated their album of the same name.

Spiceworld was an international phenomenon that sold over 14 million copies worldwide, which made it especially shocking for fans when Halliwell chose to make her departure. The four remaining Spice Girls persevered however. They finished out the tour, which also set the record for the highest-grossing tour for a female group, and they even put out an album, Forever, before disbanding to concentrate on solo endeavors. 

Since the 90s, all five Spice Girls have reunited multiple times and the responses from fans have been overwhelmingly supportive, proving the girls' lasting influence on pop culture. The Spice Girls were integral to the teen pop resurgence of the 1990s and they helped to usher in some of the hottest pop culture trends of the decade.
