This awesome double-sided concert t-shirt is for the beloved alternative rock band They Might Be Giants, and it's from a 1990 North American tour which was launched to celebrate their breakout album Flood. The album featured three of the band's most popular songs: "Birdhouse in Your Soul", "Instanbul (Not Constantinople)" and "Particle Man". While the first two were released as singles, "Particle Man" managed to become a breakout hit all on its own. However the song's influence could be partially credited to its music video which was featured on the animated series Tiny Toon Adventures and its spin-off The Plucky Duck Show.

They Might Be Giants, which consists of John Flansburgh and John Linnell, first entered the music scene in the early 1980s. They performed music around New York City and became famous for their off-beat lyrics and appropriately silly stage shows that featured props like over-sized fezzes and a large cardboard cutout of newspaper editor, William Allen White's head. For several years they served as the house band at a Lower East Side club called Darinka and they produced two albums prior to Flood, which was their first release with a mainstream record label, Elektra.

Since then the group has ventured into children's music and written several television theme songs, including ones for the shows Malcolm in the Middle, The Oblongs, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Higglytown  Heroes.

The tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large
