This amazing double-sided t-shirt is a part of the infamous Vamperotica tees sold by the band Cradle of Filth back in the 90s. The gothic metal band starting selling these shirts around the time of their second studio album, Dusk...And Her Embrace. The album was a hit among critics and helped the group to expand their fanbase, but they also gained additional recognition thanks to their impressive and theatrical live performances, where they would peddle their Vamperotica shirts.

The band partnered with gothic erotic artist Nigel Wingrove, who would later go on to found the horror movie company Salvation Films. Wingrove's artwork was perfectly in line with the band's musical style and influences. Wingrove had worked for the fetish magazine Skin Two, and also created a short film called Visions of Ecstasy, which was based on the writings of the Carmelite nun Saint Teresa of Avila, and set to a soundtrack written by former Siouxsie and the Banshees bassist, Steven Severin. The short earned Wingrove the honor of being the only director to have a film banned in the UK on the grounds of blasphemy, making him the perfect artist to bring Cradle of Filth's twisted visions to life. The band originally recruited him to design their album art before they began producing t-shirts as well.

One of the most famous Vamperotica creations to emerge out of the 90s, was the "Vestal Masturbation" shirt, which depicted a nun pleasuring herself and also bore the words "Jesus is a c***". The shirt was unsurprisingly controversial, and it even led to a small handful of fans getting arrested or fined for public indecency. These obscene designs weren't out of place at a Cradle of Filth show however, and many 90s fans fondly remember walking around venues like the London Astoria and seeing crowds of people happily sporting their Vamperotica tees. This shirt serves as the perfect throwback to that era in Cradle of Filth's history, and it features haunting vampire themed graphics, the Vamperotica logo, and the words "Suck my blood and f*** my soul" written proudly across the back.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is some discoloration on the front, see pics.
