This awesome concert tee was made for the undisputed Queen of Pop, Madonna, and it commemorates her Drowned World Tour from 2001. Although this was Madonna's first tour since The Girlie Show in 1993, the singer had well established herself as a powerhouse performer, whose live shows were packed with impressive production and staging. The Drowned World Tour was design to promote her two latest studio albums, Ray of Light and Music, and the tour setlist only included two hits released before the 90s: "Holiday" and "La Isla Bonita".

Madonna's touring was primarily put on pause so she could focus on her personal life and acting career, but by 2001 the singer was eager to get back on stage. She gathered an impressive creative team that included choreographers Jamie King and Christian Vincent, and Jean Paul Gaultier was recruited to design the costumes. The show consisted of four acts, each with its own theme, and they included: Rock 'n' Roll Punk Girl, Geisha Girl, Cyber Cowboy, and Spanish Girl/Ghetto Girl. Receiving positive reviews from both critics and audiences, the Drowned World Tour wound up becoming the highest-grossing solo tour of 2001.
