This awesome tee commemorates the short lived professional volleyball team the San Jose Diablos. The Diablos were a co-ed volleyball team in the now defunct International Volleyball Association. The team played the full 1979 season and folded mid season in 1980 shortly before the entire IVA shut down. All of the IVA teams were based in cities in the western United States, like the Seattle Smashers, Phoenix Heat, and the Tucson Turquoise. Although it was short lived, the IVA was significant for being one of the earliest and few examples of professional, co-ed sporting leagues.

Tag says extra large but fits like a modern unisex adult large. Small run on the back of sleeve, see pics.
