This sweet vintage tee is for the "Mod Squad" at the Stafford Springs Motor Speedway in Connecticut. The Mod Squad may have been a team that raced at the speedway or the shirt may have been made for all modified racing teams. Modified racing is, as the name implies, the racing of stock cars that have been modified in various ways. Many modified cars look like hybrids between stock cars and open-wheel cars, with the back wheels covered by fenders and the front wheels and engine exposed.

The Stafford Springs Motor Speedway is over 150 years old, even older than cars themselves. The speedway was originally used for horse racing but began shifting toward automobile racing when the sport became popular in the US. Some of the track's earliest races were modifieds, as well as sprints, midgets, and stock car racing.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. Very light spots on the sleeve, see pics.
