This double-sided concert tee celebrates heartland rock musician John Cougar Mellencamp, and it commemorates his promotional tour for the album Scarecrow, which ran from 1985 into 1986. Scarecrow was Mellencamp's eight studio album, and it peaked at the number two spot on the US charts. This beloved album is remembered for the top ten hits, "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.", "Small Town", and "Lonely Ol' Night". Scarecrow also was the first of Mellencamp's albums to be recorded at his own studio, which he dubbed "Belmont Mall".
