This vintage college basketball tee is from the 1989 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament and it roots for the La Salle Explorers of La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. That year the Explorers racked up a 22-game winning streak and National Player of the Year, Lionel Simmons managed to score 3,217 points and 1,429 rebounds, making him the first player in NCAA history to score more than 3,000 points. La Salle was unfortunately knocked out during the first round of the tournament when they lost their match up against Louisiana Tech.
