This amazing graphic tee is for the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. Specifically, the tee commemorates the boxing events held at the Memorial Sports Arena in LA. Over 80 countries participated in the 12 boxing events. The US swept the competition, winning 9 gold medals and 11 medals total. They were followed by Italy, who won a total of 5 medals. Countries like Cuba and the Soviet Union were expected to have a strong showing during the games but the Soviet-led boycott resulted in neither country sending athletes to LA84.
