This cool tee commemorates the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, and it highlights the gymnastics events in particular. LA84 saw exciting moments in the world of gymnastics, including the debut of a new Olympic event, rhythmic gymnastics. During the games, Mary Lou Retton, an athlete from the US became the first gymnast outside of Eastern Europe to be declared the winner of  the gymnastics all-around competition. Meanwhile Li Ning, who was representing China, was awarded an impressive six medals in total, earning him the nickname "Prince of Gymnastics". Finally the American men's gymnastics team took home the gold, adding to the United States total of 83 gold medals, the most of any country during that year's summer games.

The 1984 Olympics were also noted for being the most financially successful iteration of the modern day games. This was largely thanks to the city of Los Angeles using several already established sporting complexes. This helped them to greatly cut down on construction costs.

The tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is some discoloration on the right sleeve and along the left side, see pics.
