This awesome double-sided t-shirt is for the iconic heavy metal band Motorhead, and it celebrates their 1984 compilation album titled No Remorse. The back of the shirt reads, "Born to lose, live to win" a combination of two of their song titles, and it also displays a large black spade in reference to arguably their most famous hit "Ace of Spades".
Motorhead fist formed in London in 1975, and they were considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal which became especially popular by the early 80s. No Remorse was the group's last release with Bronze Records and it provided an overview of some of their greatest hits with the label. The album also featured a handful of new tracks. These were the first to be recorded by the band's newest lineup, which consisted of Phil Campbell, Michael "Wurzel" Burston, Pete Gill, and Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister.
Bronze Records chose to release No Remorse because they had doubts about the potential success of the band's new lineup, after the departure of "Fast" Eddie Clarke. Lemmy chose to combat this lack of faith by insisting the compilation also contain new material. The band later took Bronze to court, as they believed the label wasn't promoting their music correctly. This lead to a ban from the recording studio, but Motorhead persevered and instead focused their energy on touring throughout the mid 80s.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There are some spots and small holes, see pics.
