This 1980s Olympics tee is super rare. This tee is from the infamous boycotted summer Olympics in Moscow, which was then a part of the Soviet Union, officially called Games of the XXII Olympiad but commonly known as Moscow 1980.

The games were the first and only to be held by a self-proclaimed communist country until 2008 when the games were held in China. The United States led boycott inspired 66 countries to not take part in the games. Officially this was due to the Soviet-Afghan War. President Jimmy Carter announced intentions to boycott the games in March of 1980.
