This awesome vintage ringer is a souvenir from the 1986 World Exposition, which took place in Vancouver, Canada. Expo 86 was a world's fair whose theme was centered on "Transportation and Communication: World in Motion-World in Touch", and it also coincided with Vancouver's centennial celebrations. Some famous guests that were present at the expo were Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Margaret Thatcher, and vice-president George Bush. There were concerts by Kenny Loggins, Miles Davis, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, and Depeche Mode, as well as appearances by comedians Bob Newhart, Bob Hope, Red Skeleton, Joan Rivers, and George Burns. A rapid transit system called the SkyTrain and an expo centre called Science World were built for the event, and then later became permanent contributions to the city of Vancouver.
