This rad tee commemorates the 1981 World Skydiving Championships held in Zephyrhills, Florida. The graphic features skydivers in an 8-way formation called the "In-Out." Zephyrhills is well known for their skydiving events and opportunities, and Skydive City, based out of the Zephyrhills Airport, is famous for being the largest woman-owned drop-zone in the world.
The World Skydiving Championships have been happening every two years since 1975. Competitive formation skydivers from all over the world come together to show off their free falling formations for points. The Zephyrhills World Championship was the fourth World Championship ever held and the United States team won both events, the 4-way and the 8-way. The United States has continued to score well in following World Championships.
