This 90s protest tee comes from the March on Washington for LGBTQ Rights and Liberation in 1993. The rally in Washington D.C. was one of the largest in American history, with an estimated attendance of over 1 million protesters.

The march came as a response to widespread hate crimes and disrimination towards lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals across the country, from Don't Ask Don't Tell to Colorado's constitutional amendment. Urvashi Vaid, prominent activist and member of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, sent a letter to LGBTQ organizations to organize a march on D.C.

The success of the march is also reflected in the lineup of speakers and performers, including Judith Light, Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Pelosi, Madonna, and Eartha Kitt.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large.
