This awesome tee is for the thrash metal band Megadeth, and it pays tribute to the group's fourth studio album Rust in Peace. This shirt features the same sweet graphic that was used as the cover art for the album. The image was designed by Ed Repka, the same artist responsible for designing the band's mascot Vic Rattlehead, who's pictured here above an extraterrestrial figure.

Rust in Peace is considered by many fans of the genre to be one of the greatest thrash metal records of all time, and it was even nominated for Best Metal Performance at the 33rd Grammy Awards. This record featured one of the band's seminal songs, "Hangar 18" as well as the single "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due". During this time period Megadeth also embarked on the Clash of the Titans tour, where they supported some of the biggest metal bands of the era. For the European leg they played alongside Slayer, Testament, and Suicidal Tendencies, and during the American leg they got to play with Anthrax and Alice in Chains as well.
