This amazing band tee is for the heavy metal band Metallica and features a gnarly graphic drawn by artist Brian Schroeder, known by many as Pushead. The artist has collaborated with Metallica numerous times and provided the album covers for St. Anger and And Justice For All. The back of the shirt features lyrics for the song "Wherever I May Roam" off their eponymous fifth album. The lyrics read, "And the Earth becomes any throne I adapt to the unknown under wandering stars I've grown by myself but not alone I ask no one wherever I may roam". The original recording of the song features the use of a sitar and a gong. It is often performed live and during live performances, Metallica uses their original sitar recording for the intro and then joins after the first accented note.

"Wherever I May Roam" was on of five singles which was released on the Metallica album. The others included "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters", "Sad but True", and the now iconic "Enter Sandman". Metallica was praised by critics and became the band's best selling album. It managed to spend a consecutive four weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 chart and the band launched a tour in 1991 called the Wherever We May Roam Tour to help promote it.
