This sweet vintage tee is for the Seattle based rock band Mudhoney and reads "Devilishly Delectable Spreadably Meatylicious". The band was formed out of the remains of the 1984 band Green River, which consisted of Jeff Ament, Mark Arm, Steve Turner, Alex Vincent, Stone Gossard, and Bruce Fairweather. While Gossard and Ament went on to form Pearl Jam, Arm and Turner got together to create Mudhoney. They recruited Bundle of Hiss drummer Dan Peters and Melvins bassist Matt Lukin, and chose the group's name based off of the 1965 Russ Meyer film.

They became the flagship band of the Sub Pop label and released their debut single "Touch Me I'm Sick" during the spring of 1988. The song and the EP it was featured on, titled Superfuzz Bigmuff, were instrumental to the creation of the 90s grunge movement. Although Mudhoney never found much commercial success their music inspired other rock icons such as Kurt Cobain who listed Superfuzz Bigmuff as one of his favorite albums. The band released a number of albums from the late 80s into the mid 2000s and beyond. Their last release was Digital Garbage in 2018 on the label that they started their career on, Sub Pop.
