This awesome vintage t-shirt is for the hip hop trio Naughty by Nature. The shirt is from 1991 when the group released their self-titled album, which featured their breakout hit "O.P.P." The song sampled both "Synthetic Substitution" by Melvin Bliss and "ABC" by the Jackson 5, and it peaked at the number six spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The same album also included two other minor hits "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" and "Uptown Anthem". The latter was featured on the soundtrack for the movie Juice starring Omar Epps and Tupac Shakur. Naughty by Nature member, Treach, also made a cameo appearance in the film and was encouraged to pursue an acting career after befriending Tupac.
The group's self-titled album was followed by 19 Naughty III and Poverty's Paradise. Both albums reached the top spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Charts. The song "Hip Hop Hurray" was a significant hit with a music video directed by Spike Lee. The video also featured cameos from Queen Latifah, Eazy-E, Run DMC, and Da Yougstas. Poverty Paradise ended up winning the 1996 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
