The Philadelphia Phillies had a particularly strong year in 1993, the year this shirt was copyrighted. After coming in last in the Eastern Division in 1992, they Phils held first place in their division for all but one day during the '93 season. They went on to play the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series, which they unfortunately lost.
