This sweet double-sided tour shirt is for the British progressive rock band Jethro Tull and it is from their Broadsword And The Beast tour from 1982. The Broadsword And The Beast was the band's fourteenth studio album and the tour was considered their most elaborate live experience. The tour was very theatrical with the stage being decorated to look like a full pirate ship.
This shirt features the same image as the one pictured on the album cover which was designed by Iain McCaig, who would later go on to design the Star Wars characters Padme Amidala and Darth Maul. The album featured the songs "Broadsword" and "Fallen on Hard Times" and musically it was a cross between an 80s inspired synth heavy sound and the folk-influenced style of the band's previous work.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt is soft and paper thin. It is worn in the armpits and has some runs, see pics.
