This vintage baseball shirt celebrates the 1987 World Series and the series champions the Minnesota Twins. This was the Twins' first World Series appearance since 1924 and they managed to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals four games to three. This was the first World Series to feature games played indoors and also the first in which the home team won every game. Game Seven of the series took place on October 25, which was the birthday of Twins' shortstop Roy Smalley. It was also Smalley's last major league game before his retirement.
