This awesome vintage t-shirt is for the English progressive rock band King Crimson. The shirt is for their eighth studio album titled Discipline and it features the same Celtic knot graphic that appears on the cover of the album. The design was a copyrighted image by George Bain, however it was used without Bain's permission and later releases of the album featured an altered knot design made by Steve Ball. The altered design was also used as the logo for Robert Fripp's record label Discipline of Global Mobile.
The album was released in 1981 by E.G. Records and by that time the only original band member remaining was guitarist Robert Fripp. Aside from him and Bill Bruford, all the other members featured on the album were American musicians. Discipline resulted in the band adapting a more updated new wave sound for the 80s. Singles included "Matte Kudasai" and "Thela Hun Ginjeet" which is an anagram of "heat in the jungle". The album peaked at number 45 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is paper thin and distressed, see pics.
