This vintage tee is super comfy and fun to look at. It's a nineties original featuring long sleeves, awesome graphics, and double sided print- great for skiing and other snow sports.
All the imagery and names on spotlighted in the graphics indicates this was probably made for a ski event or other snow sport like bobsledding or snowboarding. Winter Park is a popular ski resort in Colorado and Irie Powder might be a variation of the Powder skier's magazine. It could also possibly be referencing the famous Disney film Cool Runnings (1993) inspired by the 1988 Jamaican Bobsled Team who shocked the world with their Olympic appearance.
Perhaps the most iconic Black figure in winter sports is the National Brotherhood of Skiers. The organization is dedicated to promoting and fostering interest in skiing in the African-American community. Historically, snow sports were not super accessible for Black Americans, and the Brotherhood has been working since the 70s to change that.
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. Double sided print, large graphic is on the back.
