This amazing tee commemorates the rock band Aerosmith's Back in the Saddle Tour from the mid 80s. This was the band's comeback tour, after several years of inactivity as the member's worked through some personal issues. By the end of the 70s, the band's drug and alcohol use was becoming a huge problem, especially in their personal lives. Lead singer Steven Tyler and lead guitarist Joe Perry were at each other's throats and the former left the band to start his own project. After Perry left, the band tried to go on but they were unable to fill big venues like before and Tyler's drug problem was taking a huge toll on his performing capabilities.

Back in The Saddle came at a time when the band had gotten back together but they still hadn't completely kicked their drug habits. They had just signed with a new label and were working on releasing a new album called Done with Mirrors. Aerosmith decided to tour throughout the US, with a few shows in Canada, over the course of seven months. The second volume of the bands Classics Live! album was mostly recorded during a show in Boston during the last leg of the tour. The Back in the Saddle shows were well attended and fans welcomed Aerosmith back with open arms, however addiction continued to plague the band. In 1986, after the disappointing release of Done with Mirrors, Tyler and the rest of the band completed rehab. By the next year, with the release of Permanent Vacation, the band was sober and back on top of the world of rock n roll.
