This awesome vintage rock t-shirt is for the King of Shock Rock, Alice Cooper. The shirt commemorates his 1986 album Constrictor, which coincided with his The Nightmare Returns Tour. Constrictor was released after a three year long hiatus and it was the first of his albums to feature Kane Roberts on guitar and Kip Winger on bass. Songs from the album included the theme for Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)" as well as Teenage Frankenstein, which was also featured in the movie. It also included "The Great American Success Story", which was originally intended to be the theme for the Rodney Dangerfield comedy Back to School.
The Nightmare Returns Tour served up Cooper's signature brand of shock rock showmanship, which pulls inspiration from horror films, vaudeville, and garage rock. His following tour for the album, Raise Your Fist and Yell, was inspired by slasher movies like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street in particular. Some of the stunts in the show raised controversy in Europe and the German government even forced him to remove some of his gorier segments from the show. One of the stunts included a hanging execution sequence that almost cost Cooper his life, when a safety rope broke during rehearsal.
