This amazing vintage Sex Pistols shirt features art by Jamie Reid. The image shown was used in the movie, The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle, a mockumentary which centered around the band. The image is a classic Reid piece, featuring an old magazine photo defaced and printed over with a subversive message: Fuck Forever. This t-shirt is likely from the late 80s, and is copyright to Sex Pistols Residuals, on a Polygram Records Tag.
Jamie Reid became best known for his work with the Sex Pistols. He created the cover art for the iconic "God Save the Queen" single, as well as the cover for "Anarchy in the UK", Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, and several Sex Pistols flyers. Reid helped to popularize the ransom note style artwork that became indicative of the DIY flyers used during the punk movement. He originally created the style while putting together the radical political magazine Suburban Press. Reid later went on to also create images for the band Afro Celt Sound System.
